About the Author

It’s not easy to honestly describe yourself. I’m not certain it’s even possible. But at least I can list a few facts and figures.

I’m a gentle soul, father, grandfather, humanist, skeptic, mysterian, stoic, Zen Buddhist student, engineer, photographer, writer of some variety.

I am neural atypical and an autodidact. I am strictly a layperson. I hold no letters of higher education nor do I claim to have other formal qualifications for penning such an audacious document. Many might consider these as reasons for not taking my views seriously. So if you were hoping to find a treatise written by an authority on the nature of existence, you will not find it here.

But for the record, to me all this stuff seems obvious. It is all right there in my mind’s eye. I’m just taking dictation. Yet I can’t find anyone else who shares my perspective. So I find myself compelled to at least make an attempt.

All I ever wanted was to peel potatoes and be happy doing it. Perhaps I am anyway.
